Corporate
Bart Voorvaart represents clients in international and domestic acquisitions, private equity transactions, distressed debt operations, and joint venture disputes. He started his career as a transaction lawyer at Trenité van Doorne, specialising in M&A, venture capital and finance. After five years Bart joined the Investment Banking department of ABN AMRO, where he acted on a large number of securities transactions. He returned to legal practice in 2004 to found Cleber together with Maarten Drop.
Bart is a multi-dimensional adviser and well versed in finance and the world of new technologies. He is a skilled negotiator. Clients appreciate his ability to think commercially and strategically, his arithmetical insight and his skill to translated complex negotiation results into clear contract language.
Bart enjoys bringing parties together, also with a view to sharing knowledge and experience. He works closely together with investors and other experts while restructuring companies in distress.
